Crochet Soap Saver

Crochet Soap Saver

Hate losing pieces of your soap all over the shower? If you love handmade or bar soaps, these crochet soap savers are a necessity. Made out of Sugar and Cream cotton yarn, they can be washed and re-used many times over. This soap saver will fit a standard bar of soap, such as Dove, and has a drawstring at the top to close it securely.

I used the pattern that I found at Joy of Life, but modified it and completed the moss stitch all the way to the top. These are great to use in the shower because you can hang them up to dry out and when your soap is gone, just rinse out the soap saver  and throw it in the laundry to wash. I especially like using soap savers because I feel like I can get a better lather out of my soaps.

Happy crocheting!
