I first saw this baby blanket at a baby shower I attended and it looked so soft that I had to make it. Lucky for me, it is available as a FREE pattern from Lion Brand! This pattern uses an entire pound of yarn, which can be purchased easily in baby colors.
Can you believe that this was my first ever blanket I have completed? I usually tend to go for more of the instant gratification projects that I can complete within an hour, but this one just took me a few weeks to complete. I love how the pattern makes the blanket look really soft for baby! This blanket is the best baby shower present ever!
Not the best picture, but at least you can see it folded up. It turned out much better than I expected and I was happy that I finally could say that I had crocheted a baby blanket!
